Betty's Big Bad Blog: A Mom To Three Dogs

  • K. Fields · 1 year ago
Oh my gosh, this post brings back memories of when my children were very young, and we also had 3 dogs, 2 cats, a hampster, a cockatiel, and a umbrella cockatoo. Yikes. I think about it now, and can't figure out how I did it way back then... Great Post! :)

Thanks, It's hard, but it's interesting and half the time I enjoy it. The other half I'm wondering if i should become an alcoholic.

Good lord you have your hands full. I have two high maintenance dogs, I mean kids, at least they think they are human. Rachael is a jack russel terrier and has a temperament like Buster, she would attack anyone she doesn’t know if we’d let her. A good friend of mine had a few days of leave from the marines and drove 9-10 hours from the DC area to East Tennessee for a visit. Upon his arrival at 2am Rachael jumped up and bit his finger the minute he walked through the door. This was her way of saying “Welcome to Tennessee.” Emma, our other dog is a mutt, more than likely part beagle and maybe part yellow lab. She is adorable and sweet 80 percent of the time and lucifers child the other 20 percent of the time. I’m glad to see you wrote a post about your other kids, they’re important too. Great Post! (Off Topic, just wanted to let you and Trey know that there is a plugging for WordPress called “More” I believe and it will allow you to show previews of each post rather than showing the whole thing. I think you guys use WP) After it’s installed you just click the “more” button wherever you want the post end for the main page and the rest will be revealed when the post is clicked on. It will allow you to show more of your posts on the main page and cuts down on scrolling.

Thanks Ryan, however haven't you noticed that his site is always looking good? That's because he tends to ignore mine. I know I could take care of it but I mowed the lawn this weekend... what did he do?

LOL, my wife and I just got into the same argument. Only difference, I have been working on removing a blown engine and installing a new one into my car, which has occupied all three of the days I had off this weekend and I'm still not done. Our lawn looks horrible but my neighbors will just have to deal with it, I don't have any time. lol

How did you get your dog to do that!? Hilarious and cute.
Our chocolate lab's tail is brown until about half way down and then it's blond. Looks odd.
